Full Description
Along the north-eastern side of the excavation area, four cellar arches projecting into the street were recorded. These arches had originally been two courses of brick thick, but at some time the upper course had been removed. Despite numerous local legends, no evidence of tunnels leading to the castle was found. (1)
See L10922 for cobbled surface, L10923 for drain.
