Full Description

Trench 1 - across the projected line of a cropmark feature and coinciding with a faint linear anomaly recorded by the resistivity survey. A ditch was seen running roughly NE to SW. Two cuts or two ditches on the same alignment were present. The earliest was shallow sided and cut from within the subsoil, it was cut by a narrow steep sided and flat bottomed ditch, with P Med pot and brick half way down the fill. (1)
