Full Description

Three features were cut into the clays in the SE corner of trench 03. 0023 was ovoid, 0.8 x 1.1m across by 0.08m deep and contained a sherd of Stamford ware. 0021 was 1.8 by at least 1.9m but only 0.12m deep and produced 17 sherds including four of Stamford ware, several of splashed ware and two green glazed. 0022 was a patch of darker fill only 20mm deep on the NW edge of 0021 and yielded a sherd of a shelly fabric.
