Full Description

Immediately beneath the metalled surface a grey brown sandy layer was identified as a buried land surface. This sealed three features. A large pit 0.7m deep was almost centrally positioned under the road. Two other features to the E of this were irregular scoops. No artefacts were recovered. (1) (2)
