Full Description

40 worked flints (from fieldwalking). Most are plough bashed. The struck pieces fall into two groups, most late Neolithic / BA, eg hard hammer struck scrapers, plano-convex knife, polished chisel blade and possible (calcined) fabricator. Few cores and none that certainly belong with this material. Earlier material comprises a few diagnostic pieces (eg the base of a leaf shaped arrowhead, a truncated blade and an edge used blade). Possibly part of an obliquely backed blade. (1)
See L11108 for quern fragment from this field, L11149 for Ro pottery, L11162 for Med/P Med pottery, L11184 for fire-cracked pebbles. See L8344, L8345 for cropmarks.
