Full Description

17 worked flints (from fieldwalking). The three tools are Neolithic, (end scraper and a wedge, probably late Neo, leaf shaped arrowhead in Wolds flint). Apart from a large plough-bashed blade all the material is flakes and there is no obvious pre-Neolithic material. A large fragment possibly used as a strike-a-light. (1)
See L11163 for Med/P Med pottery from this field, L11128 for flints from neighbouring field, L11188 for fire-cracked pebbles from both. See L8351 for cropmarks..
