Full Description
60 worked flints (from fieldwalking). Late neolithic / early bronze age activity is represented by debitage and tools typical of the period (large and chunky flakes, thumbnail scrapers, wedge, accomplished core/scraper). Blade technology is represented by core tablets, a residual blade core, neatly flaked slightly corticated core, corticated blade and end scraper on a blade, all likely to be earlier. (1) (2)
See L11128 for P Med gunflints from this field, L11165 for Med/P Med pottery, L11123 for flints from neighbouring field, L11188 for fire-cracked pebbles from both fields. See L8350 for cropmarks.
