Full Description

30 sherds (recovered during fieldwalking), principally grey ware but including two shell tempered sherds, one combed, of late Iron Age / early Roman date, and one grog tempered of C1 or early C2. Grey ware forms included mid C3 - C4 flanged bowl and jars of C3 to C4 and a cupped rim sherd of Derbyshire ware. The assemblage is predominantly C3 - C4 with small C1 element. (1)
