Full Description

Boundary removal means the three small fields walked are now one large field. Sherds of sandy fabrics from C13 to C14 were present, along with Nottingham green glazed wares and green glazed sherds from large vessels made with a dirty clay, suggesting either a late medieval date or that they were not made in Nottingham. Light bodied gritty wares of C15 to C16 were also present. (1)
See L11124, L11129 and L11134 for flints from these 3 fields, L11187 for fire cracked pebbles.
