Full Description

A N-S aligned ditch some 4m wide at the S end of the site. Only excavated to a depth of 1.2m. Two fills, within the upper were butchered animal bones and a small quantity of abraded ?Saxo-Norman pottery. Lower fill contained a few animal bones and one fragment of Ro roof tile, probably secondary. (1)
