Full Description
The test pits yielded … a low density of generally abraded Romano-British pottery. Only 27 sherds … widely scattered over the gravel 'island'. Much of the material could derive from manuring activities, but the noticably higher density in TP 32 (7 sherds) raises the possibility of a nearby activity focus. (1)
