Full Description

The most significant result of the fieldwalking was the discovery of a scatter of four IA sherds in OS field 4800 (Priest Ings); all sherds are abraded or moderately abraded. Three of the sherds derive from plain and probably hand made vessels … one body sherd preserves deep scoring and may be assigned with reasonable confidence to the later IA. (1)
