Description

A minimum of 50m zone either side of the proposed pipeline route was walked in the winter and spring of 1993-4, wherever field conditions permitted, with the aim of identifying finds concentrations. Each field was walked in a series of 10m transects and all medieval and earlier finds within a c.2m zone centred upon the axis of each transect were collected.
