Full Description

The most significant result of the fieldwalking was the discovery of a scatter of … four Romano British sherds in field 4800 (Priest Ings); all the sherds are abraded or moderately abraded. The Ro pottery comprises grey ware body sherds, one deriving from a C3 or C4 long necked beaker. (1)
