Full Description

A NW-SE aligned linear cut with concave sides and base (007). … fill contained a number of large rounded stones with no apparent bonding. Likley to represent the foundations of a boundary in the form of a wall or raised bank … the alignment being the same as the Gorge Dyke. To the SE of this feature, a further cut aligned SW-NE with concave sides was recorded. Possibly this forms the return of (007) and encloses an area. (1)
See L11384 for ditch, L11386 for P Med pottery, L4095 for dyke.
Grid reference for (007), other ditch not shown on plan or anywhere else in report.
