Full Description
A number of finds were recovered from the spoil thrown up from the section of pipeline from the end of Chapel Street to the Smite. A large sherd of Scored Ware retrieved by the excavation crew (site 6). Though found in silty flood deposits, its relatively unabraded edges make it unlikely that it had travelled very far. (1)
