Full Description
The assemblages from contexts 103, 108, (115 - see L11425 and 204 - see L11428) contain a range of good quality C17 and C18 pottery including: blackwares, brown stoneware, tinglaze, Chinese export porcelain and both Staffordshire and local slipwares. The presence of two white stoneware and two creamware sherds confirms that the majority of vessels belong to mid C18, though some may be C17 survivals. Four C19 sherds in (103) may be intrusive. (1)
Contexts 103 and 108 only appear in the section drawings and pottery report, no description or explanation is offered within the text. (2)
See L11417 for post med foundations and xrefs.
