Full Description

Trench 1. Four features dug into (earliest) layer … a shallow gully running W - E … a shallow pit like feature … a second W - E gully … a fourth feature … its fill contained a few rotted pieces of wood and 3 sherds of green glazed medieval pottery ?C15. This was the only feature to contain any finds and the wood fragments looked like tree root. (1)
