Full Description

Trench 2. Brown soil containing brick fragments and ash … a thick layer of gravel bedded in orange sand, probably a path. At the same time a lead water pipe was laid in a trench. Sealing the gravel path and pipe trench was a coal and ash surface, perhaps another path. (1)
