Layers of brown sandy loam containing coal fragments, large stone fragments, crushed mortar, shell and collections of articulated animal bone ... a mixture of pottery, including some post medieval sherds. … 0007, sandy loam, contained a variety of pottery including post medieval coarse earthenware of probable C18 ... series of small pits with ash, charcoal and domestic refuse (bone, shell and late post-medieval pottery).
