Full Description

Tree pit 7 contained a culvert running parallel to the road, made of stone with a brick arch. Tentatively dated late C18 - early C19. Another interesting feature … the mudstone does a gentle dip and this appears to be manmade. At the base of the slope was a thin, compacted layer of pebbles, and this continued below the culvert.
