Full Description
A number of exceptionally compact gravel bands. Interpretation as metalled surfaces and associated make up deposits … it is possible to speculate that test pit 4 is situated on the line of a medieval or post medieval precursor of the road leading to Trent Bridge. (1)
See L11656 for nearby medieval tile.
