Full Description

Watching brief during excavation of Telecom inspection chamber. The earliest deposit recorded was a loose brick rubble fill similar to that recorded infilling cellar (L11672). A small quantity of butchered animal bone and the left half of a human mandible was recovered from this fill. A single corroded copper button was recovered from a later fill. These deposits may have represented the fill of a cellar, whose walls were not visible in the small trench. (1)
See L11649 for nearby burials, L11672 for nearby cellar.
