Full Description
Trench 1. 53 pieces of post medieval and modern pottery were found. Several pieces of modern glass were found, these were mostly bottle glass. A small quantity of slag was found, all iron slag. All appeared to be bloomery slag, a post medieval date seems likely. (1)
