Full Description

69 sherds in two main fabric types: coarse oxidised sandy wares, some partially glazed, and very hard fired, purple brown wares, again partially glazed. A broad date range of C13 to C15 may be suggested. The distribution of the Med pottery shows no obvious concentrations and is likely to be the result of manuring and agricultural activity. (1)

See L8465 for medieval pottery from an earlier investigation, L11811 for Pa flint and cross references.
