Full Description

76 flints were recovered from field 5957, with a density of 20 per hectare, but clearly scattered on the sand dune. The diagnostic pieces included a core and core rejuvenation flake, a used flake and 6 scrapers. The debitage and tools are typical of the later Neolithic / early Bronze Age, with no indication of any earlier activity. (Flints from the northern field are not described, but shown on fig 11). (1)
