Full Description

Fieldwalking - An unusually high concentration of early medieval pottery, which includes Torksey wares and a few sherds of other fabric types eg Lincoln kiln type, Stamford ware and other Saxo-Norman / Medieval fabrics. These finds represent an unusually high concentration of Saxo-Norman wares from a rural context in this county. (1)
