Full Description

A pit alignment, 121m end to end. There was some variation in the form of individual pits of the alignment, though, where best preserved, they were squarish or oblong. They seem to have been infilled soon after being opened. …Fragments of brick / tile and medieval / post medieval pot occuring in nine of the excavated pits, their infilling cannot have occurred before C18 / C19.
