Full Description
Ring S, probably 4.0-4.5m diameter, but only a small part was exposed. Ring T, c.7.5m in diameter. Ring U, c.6m diameter, a pair of curved gullies, may not even be a ring. No dating evidence from any of these. Ring K (visible on AP), c.7m in diameter. Penannular, with SE causeway. A couple of heat cracked pebbles and fragment of stone axe from its fill, ground plan resembles nothing so much as a 'mini-henge' of the Neolithic. (1)
See L11976 for ring ditches associated with early med cemetery, L8047 and L11973 for larger circles, L9283 for later enclosures and boundaries.
