Full Description

140 pieces of struck flint (from the entire fieldwalking area - includes L10234) that included 18 retouched pieces and 5 utilised. Tools such as knives, piercers, notched blades serrated edge flakes and saws were recovered. Cluster 3 totals 39 pieces. The flint here is early Neolithic in date and contains a small component of residual later Mesolithic material. The remainder of the assemblage is predominantly of later Neolithic character. (1)
Grid ref centred on Cluster 3. General scatter extends around this area and to the NE.
