Full Description

Two flints, "general unstratified". A small single platform pyramidal core with platform edge prepared by abrasion. Has clearly had blade removals and is most likely to date from the Mesolithic / early Neolithic. The smaller piece is a flake with hinge fracture. Pressure flaked down left hand margin to provide shallow working edge, the right hand margin appears to have been used. Best described as a knife and probably dates to late Neo / early BA. (1)
See L8609 for early BA hammer, L8606 for cropmarks and cross references.
