Full Description

Trench 3 - a linear feature running NE-SW c.2m wide and 1.4m deep. Steep sided with concave base. Trench 4 - a broad linear feature running E-W, c.1.4m wide and 0.3m deep, repeatedly recut. … representing the course of an old sunken lane called Shady Lane. The only other feature identified in this trench was a brick-built drain. (1)
