Description

Trial excavation, originally intended as a single trench it was extended to four when a group of small features were exposed in Trench 1. The aim of the trial trench evaluation was to determine the extent of survival of a known linear cropmark running NE - SW into the proposed development area and any possible related features. (1) Grid ref for Trench 1.
