Full Description

A small spherical stone object was found unstratified in topsoil in the SW corner of the site. It is hand worked from medium grained reddish micaceous sandstone. The diameter of 18mm suggests a musket ball, though it cannot be ruled out as a toy marble. (1)
See L12172 for ? C18 foundations.
