Full Description

Roughly equally spaced linear bands of differing width on a NNE - SSW alignment. Interpreted as possible medieval furrows. Furrow 0114 produced a single sherd of medieval pottery. Also yielded a fragment of RB box tile, cleaning of 0116 yielded a single abraded RB pot sherd. The remaining features included a scatter of small shallow pits and postholes. No finds were recovered, though 0115 appears to post date the furrow 0116. A box section through the suggested W furrow base also revealed a narrow gully or slot. (1)
