Full Description
In Trench 1, a large circular pit containing large amounts of post medieval pot, brick, tile and bone possibly representing a backfilled well of C18 - C19 (note - pot report only mentions late medieval and post medieval pottery from this context), and a large linear ditch, N-S aligned, containing lumps of coal and post medieval pottery. In Trench 9, large circular pit containing large amounts of degraded mortar, concrete and brick, possibly a backfilled well of C18 - C19. From Trench 11, an unstratified, Midland Purple rim, distorted a second. (1)
