Full Description

(Area SK 60123720) Mounds of irregular formation. Med village now lost ? (1)
The only mound visible (SK 60113729) appears to be a long regularly-shaped spoil mound. No quarrying is evident in its immediate vicinity. (2)
Almost certainly disturbance associated with the small village of Gamston which is not a DMV. (3)
Remains of shrunken village of Gamston. Includes moat and ponds (M18237), platforms, house sites, springs, enclosures and ridge and furrow. Surveyed 1983 by NICE team. (4) (5)
