Full Description

The W tower [has a] mid C14 ogee-headed W niche. Of an earlier church a minute double-splayed Saxon window [in] … the vestry and a small piece of a displaced Norman arch. The N arcade … was once Early English. Restored in 1868-9 by J. H. Hakewill, who rebuilt the chancel. (1)
In the W wall of the tower is a fine decorated [sic] canopy or niche. A piece of a Norman arch [is] built into … the vestry externally. (2)
