Full Description

Ro finds have been ploughed up at above grid ref, S of a service road to RAF hutments near Balderfield Farm. Most of the finds are in NWM, and include C2-C4 pottery (including samian), 2 quern stones and 6 Ro coins ranging from C3 to C4. Pottery finds were densest on the W rim of a slight depression which represents a disused stone quarry. (Nothing visible on RAF APs, 1948, 1950.) (1) (2) (3)
