Remains of moat now visible are confined to the E, W and SW of Manor Farm. (2)
William Rice listed as Tenant of the 'Manor House' in 1596. At that time having 4 croft acres, 13 acres in 2 'closes', 5 acres arable land, 13 acres of Demesne Pasture. The rent for which (except demesne) was £5 2s 6d. (3)
