Full Description

Moat (1)

Remains of moat now visible are confined to the E, W and SW of Manor Farm. (2)

The only surviving remains of this manorial moat are confined to the outer side of the ditch SW of the farm, and this in all probability will not last much longer as filling is still taking place. The other earthworks published on the county series 25" have all been levelled. (3) (4)
