Full Description

Pit pony stable, slate roof, red brick. Brick arches over doors and windows. Originally housed 9 ponies for Cossall Colliery. Extensive recent alterations to accommodate 4 more. All downstairs windows are halved. Inside: stalls, trough for hay and water and a hook for tethering. Other hooks on walls for bridles etc. Hayloft now disused as such. Iron girder above hayloft and door with pulley. Stairs outside up to first floor. Dilapidated (09/07/1968). (1)
Both now demolished - grid ref centred.
