Full Description

Engine, present by 1836. (1)
Small mound in enclosure shown but not described. (2)
There was a windmill at this site, according to local tradition, but nothing is known of its date. The same tradition speaks of a well nearby but nothing has been found in ploughing. The mound had gone over 20 years ago. The field used to be known as Mill Field but is now Little Gravel Close. (3)
There are no remains of the mound and nothing of sigificance was seen. The field, under grass, occupies high ground. (4)
