Full Description

Malthouse. Pantile roof, red brick, 7 bays long, 2/3 storeys, roof hipped. In good repair; few if any alterations. (NB gives wrong grid ref, but photos are of this complex). (2) Complex of buildings centred around a courtyard. Maltings, kiln, stable, cartshed, counting house, maltster's house, foreman's house, toilet and boundary wall. One of the earliest surviving breweries. Courtyard with a late C18 or early C19 house on one side, three-storey maltings and a kiln of the same date on the other three [sic]. (4) (5)
House, adjoining malthouse and stable. Late C18 and early C19, with mid C19 … alterations. (6)
