A brick and pantile, 1 and 2 storey watermill having Yorkshire type sliding sash windows. The water wheel, gearing and stones are still in position but disused. The adjoining cottage (house) and outbuildings are now a farm. (1) (3)
Reference in Domesday. The mill tithe is documented in 1328 and 1334. The current mill still stands and in 1980 the wheel, gearing and stones were still intact but unused. The mill "ran wild" in the 1940s, jammed and was never repaired. Currently the building is rather derelict. (4)

Watermill shown on Chapman appears to be in the wrong position, but Senior map confirms that this location is correct. (6) (7)
