Full Description

1904 malthouse, of red brick, slate roof. 4 storeys including lofts, kiln at NW end. In reasonable repair but empty - in use as a malting until Sept 1975. Now owned by Hoval Farrar, boilermakers. Interior: tile growing floors on bottom 2 floors, 4 cisterns on 2nd floor, kiln floors on 3rd floor. Furnaces fired by coal. (More details). (1)
