Full Description
Circular enclosure. (1)
These marks fall on level arable land, in a field bounded on the NW by the heavily embanked River Smite. The site had been recently ploughed when visited but nothing of interest was seen. (2)
?Morph: 219.3.1 unknown prehistoric enclosure. (3)
See L1522 - in same field.
May be Romano-British ring ditch related to Roman enclosure located 1km N-E of Shelton Village (MNT13399). Evidence of the ring-ditch with protective boundary ditches around the enclosure visible in gradiometer survey (4)
