One double ditched enclosure with entrance to E. Adjoined to this are other single ditched enclosures and linear cropmarks. Similar complexes in field immediately to W (adjoining Ashmore Plantation) and N (adjoining Tea Table Plantation). (1) (2) (3) (4)
Cropmarks at Flint Hill of at least 20 subrectangular enclosures, associated with brickwork plan fields probably of Ro date. The most prominent enclosure is double ditched, 0.12Ha in area, situated on top of the hill. Excavation trench in 1976, a bank was between the ditches. (4)
Nearby enclosures are from 0.1Ha to 0.35Ha in area. Lower down the hill to the N, a number of enclosures from 400 sqm to 0.5Ha cover an area of around 3.5Ha. At SK 673762 is an irregular curvilinear enclosure. Near it is a circle 10.0m in diameter. (5)
