Full Description

A stump of a churchyard cross stands on the E side of the porch of St George's Church, Barton in Fabis. (1)
At the indicated site is a plain stone block, 0.7m square. It has a thick covering of moss but neither socket hole not stump shaft. It could have been part of a plinth to a cross and may even be inverted. (2)
