Full Description

35 adult skeletons were found in 5 graves c 2ft 6in deep at Hucknall, in 1870, whilst digging a sewer trench across a field belonging to the Duke of Portland. The burials were from 22ft to 108ft from the village school playground wall (above grid ref). There was no indication of a barrow. (No dateable finds were reported.) (1)
